The meeting, held at the Aula de la Mar, highlighted the consolidation of the EDLP and the calls for funding<\/strong><\/p>\n\n On Friday, 17 April, the GALP Mallorca General Assembly was held at the Aula de la Mar,<\/strong> where the main results of the activities carried out during 2025 were presented, together with the lines of work planned for 2026.<\/p>\n\n Among the most significant highlights, emphasis was placed on the consolidation of GALP Mallorca\u2019s operational framework and the implementation of the Participatory Local Development Strategy (EDLP), as well as on the completion of the process to amend the statutes, which strengthens the organisation\u2019s governance and representativeness.<\/p>\n\n Another key aspect was the launch of two calls for funding during 2025, which attracted more than 50 project proposals, mainly aimed at the modernisation and digitalisation of the sector, the improvement of economic performance, and the image of the fisheries sector.<\/p>\n\n The Assembly also served as an opportunity to review the communication actions, territorial animation activities and participation in events, as well as the promotion of GALP\u2019s own projects and strategic initiatives in collaboration with other sector stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n The GALP Mallorca General Assembly is a key governance body for strengthening collective work and fostering the development of projects focused on the sustainable revitalisation of Mallorca\u2019s fisheries areas.
