These sessions brought together Local Action Groups for rural and fisheries development (GALs and GALPs), administrations, and entities from the territories of the Euroregion Pyrenees-Mediterranean to address common challenges such as fisheries sustainability, generational renewal, energy transition, and economic diversification.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The President of GALP Mallorca,<\/strong> Domingo Bonnin, has spoken as a panelist on November 30, sharing the perspective of the Balearic fisheries sector and emphasizing the importance of stable European funding for the Leader programs and the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF) beyond 2027.<\/p>\n\n<p>One of the most significant moments was the reading of <strong>the \u201cCall for the Mediterranean\u201d at the Parliament of Catalonia<\/strong>, a manifesto that calls for greater European support to guarantee the continuity and sustainability of rural and maritime areas.
