CALL FOR PROPOSALS
FOR THE SECTOR

The call for proposals is the element that GALP has to contribute to the achievement of the ELDP objectives. European Funds are allocated to initiatives proposed directly by the local sector itself. In such a way that they respond to the real needs of the sector and promote its dynamization, modernization and sustainability, the grants should contribute to:

• Modernize and digitalize the fishing sector, generating new applied scientific knowledge to help maintain the sustainability of the activity.
• Improve the sector's economic performance and efficiency.
• Promote collaboration in the search for synergies and joint solutions.
• Improve the image of the sector, increase its attractiveness among young people and women, and improve access and training conditions.
